Jaak hooked up with Bronstibock (the Dutch electro and Dubstep group) after they both joined Africa Unsigned for different projects. Jaak joined Africa Unsigned originally for a documentary and Bronstibock just finished working together on tracks with Muthoni the Drummer Queen and Sage, both Kenyan artists on Africa Unsigned. Bronstibock was very keen to work with Jaak, so they remixed Afrika Oerwoud, a track from Jaak’s album Flêtse Maniere, into a killer dubstep. After their excellent work on the Afrika Oerwoud Remix both artists were convinced and more willing to start a project together on Africa Unsigned.
