I Miss You (Instrumental)

One day I woke up in the middle of the night and I couldn’t fall back asleep (I’m sure we’ve all bee there before) As I lied there in my bed, I started to think about life and how everything that has ever happened, led to me being where I am in life, today……At first I didn’t know what to think. On one hand I’ve experienced a lot of troubles and seen a lot of “not-so-good” things, but on another hand I am 10x in a better place than I ever was….

I realized that there’s so many other little things in life that we don’t take into account for, that makes life so special. Like the skies, the stars, the clouds, the sun, the moon, the unique people and things around us that go into making life so amazing….these very simple, yet very significant things…

Naturally, as a musician I decided that I needed to make music about the simple things….the things that were going on in my life. So I started working on “Simple Thangs”….I choose the word “thangs” instead of “things” because the two words are the same but totally different at the same time. “Thangs” just signifies the beauty of the culture and people that blessed me while growing up in the south. It’s only right that I add that Southern feel to this project….
