Hello and welcome to the African Writers Hub, my name is Viv Oyolu.

I’m a radio presenter, a book marketing audio expert and the author of ‘How to use podcasts to promote your book’.

I set up African Writers Hub to give african writers a voice in today’s digital landscape, raise awareness and broaden their appeal to a wider audience through the power of audio.

As a radio presenter, I know how powerful audio is. It goes much further than words on a page can, and helps builds rapport easily with listeners. 

Technology has changed the way we consume information and content. We want it in different formats and in different lengths that suits our lifestyle.

All writers - African writers included tell fascinating stories and more people need to hear about them. If you don’t have a digital presence you are only reaching a very small audience who will be interested in you and your book.

This is where I come in. I’ll help you tell your story, raise awareness of your book and increase you digital footprint with audio interviews. What this means is there are different points that your potential reader finds you and becomes aware of who you are.

With my experience, we will work out different compelling aspects of your book, so you appeal to different people. With our interview, split into bite size chunks, you’ll have the tools to share across social media to attract more attention to you and your books. 

To extend the reach of our interview, it will go on to iTunes where a large number of book lovers go to for what’s new and what appeals to them.
