When I hear them complaining all the time I feel sorry
“Too hot, too cold, hate Mondays, I got no money”
Why don’t they learn a lesson from my Blue Eyed Husky?

‘cause no matter what, my dog is always happy!

I’ve seen people acting as if the others were the problem
They’re even kinda telling it isn’t easy to make friends
They claim social interactions have come to a dead end
So why would they keep looking at their phones when I’m smiling at ‘em?

He’s happy when it rains, he’s tanning when it shines
He’s going kinda lazy on this big carpet of mine
When I take him for a run, man he’s on cloud number nine
He’s drooling on my face when his food is on the line!

He’s happy when I wake up, man he’s doing jumps for joy
He’s going all exited when I’m throwing him a toy
He’s never sad and lonely, he isn’t easy to annoy
Guess life is so much better when you’re planning to enjoy

So this true life lesson is essential to memorize
Your positivity will always get you the big prize

OUT September 7 (2013), Afrikan Guru is the 1st 11 songs LP of Kevin V & the Guruz, talking about Chasing Your Dreams & Cynical Romance to the sounds of Pop Blues, Hip Hop and a hint of Reggae!

Entirely self-produced and recorded @ his home studio in Dakar, Senegal, Kevin V undertook this LP alone writing, composing, recording and arranging every single song of it. He recorded every single instrument himself during the 2 months he locked himself up at the Studio.

The result is hopefully a collection of positive vibes with a hint of sauce and a lot of soul!
