We are a band producing African rhythm-driven, dance inducing fusion with traditional roots that is representing London’s world music scene. Afrik Bawantu’s original compositions blend highlife from West African percussion and more funk, rock genres, enhancing the cross-cultural collaboration. The uplifting rhythm section in harmony with funky horns and the guitar create a powerful Afro-Funk sound that has been taking crowds around Europe to a whole other musical level.
