COSMIC ALERT ! NYC DJ and producer Eugene Tambourine is releasing his debut EP entitled "North Satellite" via none other than Tummy Touch. Two alternative classics from the 80s revisited by Mr. Tambourine, starting with Laurie Anderson's "Blue Lagoon" originally released on her second LP "Mister Heartbreak" in 1984. Don't expect a remix, an edit or an extended dub, as this is a totally new "DJ friendly" interpretation, with added groove, lush production, and featuring, icing on the cake, Theresa Varela's soft and languid voice. One for the balearic heads out there !

syncopated, sometimes faltering beatbox rhythms, a swaggering bassline and fluttering 
arpeggiation. Coupled with hand-played chords, this is a prime example of how Dürerstuben 
can tame the beast machine and let irregularities be strengths. If you can get down with Metro 
Area, Zapp, Tensnake, and yes, even Survivor, then pick this one up.
