Guy Laliberté, Soul of Zoo - Into Your Tribe (Bedouin Remix)

Malaga native German Brigante has been serving up polished underground sounds on labels like MonaBerry and Dynamic for many years. His meticulous melodies find favour with the likes of Dixon and he runs his own Manitox label. Yamil, meanwhile, is a label regular with a rich and worldly style that often takes him to the top of digital charts as well as some of the world's finest clubs. Their superb new single features the voice and percussion of producer, singer and percussionist G.Zamora, who turns in one of his deepest performances. He sings about an inner journey where the mind is always analysing and trying to take the positives from life which in turn makes the earthly path more transcendental. 'Sigue Tu Camino' Feat. G.Zamora is a deeply hypnotic Afro-house cut with spiritual synths. The organic percussion peppers the supple drums and G.Zamora's vocal casts an almighty spell. It is the sort of life-enriching track that will form the highlight of any set, such is the realness of its emotions. Afro-house music doesn't come more stylish and classy than this new single from the connected label.

It's utterly enchanting and classy. Best Therapy (George X Remix) is then more propulsive thanks to the soft shakers and roilling beats, but watery sound effects and wispy pads keep it deep.

Amour Propre brings us a melodic mix of afro and organic house tracks, with 'Wait for me' EP. The original of this track, which gives the title to the EP, is a nice creation between afro and organic house, and enchants with the clean sweet melodies that come out quite early and give the strong character of this piece. DSF, on remix duty for this track, introduces a distinct captivating rhythm, and goes deep into the afro spirit. As the track evolves, DSF does his magic with its harmonies becoming more intense and chords leading the way. The other remixer for this great EP is Stephane Salerno, who offers yet another interesting interpretation for this piece, on the organic side. He introduces new instruments, for a deep and atmospheric experience, and a strong beat. 'Mystic Tribe', the second track of this EP starts with a strong afro rhythm which sets the tone, but it continues with mellow piano chords and an alluring vocal. Enjoy this September release!

YION proudly presents 'Silence', the ironically titled collaboration between producer and label co-founder Georg Arnim and the singer-songwriter VRAE. This emotional rollercoaster of a song will captivate you, be it through its astounding and unpredictable percussion or through the powerful voice of VRAE, two elements that are perfectly intertwined in an exiting spiral of spatially mixed sonic excellence. This one is for the history books, we are sure about it.

Georg Arnim, VRAE - Silence

A seasoned performer and talented producer, Michael Ritter finds himself at the forefront of modern underground dance from his Berlin home. Much in-demand with DJ appearances across Europe, in Amsterdam, Ibiza, Hamburg and his Berlin hometown, a production career in tandem has seen Michael feature on the likes of Obenmusik, YOMO Records and Aesthetika. Meanwhile, his Grey Bar Hotel imprint also serves as a vehicle for his own production and remix material.

Reworking “To Follow”, the Michael Ritter remix provides a deeper, up-tempo vibe that takes the central themes of the original and extends them into a stunning new interpretation. Making elegant use of Ghenwa Nemnom’s Qanun playing, Michael creates a sub-bassline and ticking percussive groove framework that adds depth and dancefloor credentials to the organic instrumentation. Glorious piano chord progressions add a melancholic air that ripples through the 8-minute piece exuding class and craftsmanship. 

A new label to enter the underground house milieu, Pillbox is a label based in Berlin and Mexico City.
