Soul Button Reimagines Mistier’s Spellbinding ‘Lost My Way’ The Steyoyoke Recordings label head rekindles a longstanding collaboration with Mistier, joining a list that includes OFFAIAH, Alex Kenji, Zoo Brazil, and Enoo Napa… Enigmatic artist collective Mistier returns this November as ethereal techno mainstay Soul Button delivers a unique reimagination of ‘Lost My Way’ via Mistier Music. 

The remix continues a collaboration that saw Mistier write and sing on two original tracks for a Soul Button concept album, resulting in one of Soul Button’s most streamed tracks, ‘New Day’. Now, a year after the release of ‘Lost My Way’, the track re-emerges with a new sense of captivation, embracing lead singer Andre Mistier’s unmistakable vocals interwoven into a new, immersive sonic journey, available as extended and short edits. Building on the original’s gripping combination of reflective lyrics, evocative harmonies, and sultry grooves, Soul Button’s remix of ‘Lost My Way’ cuts even deeper. Flooded with resonant chords, dreamy arps, and piercing synth lines, it’s an unavoidably magnetic arrangement of personality, relativity, and self-discovery, bundled with subtly moving rhythms and vast atmospheric soundscapes. Speaking on the original of ‘Lost My Way,’ Mistier said: “This song is about accepting faults and weaknesses. Early in my adult life, I spent a while focusing on self-development and really thought I had gotten somewhere. In fact, I had grown and explored in some ways but had written off other, more vulnerable, directions of self-inquiry. To find later that I had so much more to learn and confront was challenging. Love was the true motivator: to be worthy of the love I was being offered I had to face my deeper fears, places I had no tools to know how to confront yet.” Italian DJ/Producer Soul Button has become a fixture in Berlin’s vibrant music scene, where he’s built a reputation for his unique sound and innovative production style. Through his labels, Steyoyoke and Inner Symphony, he’s achieved impressive chart and streaming success for his ever-growing singles, EPs and albums and made a lasting impact in underground circles.
