Everything you hear in this remix of Tamino’s Habibi was created using only my voice. The beatboxed rhythms, harmonies, and backing vocals are all my original compositions. I’ve been wanting to challenge myself with a project like this for a long time—no instruments, no backing track, just vocals. I chose this song because it’s one of my favorite love songs—it hits deep every time. 🖤 A lot of heart went into this, so I hope it speaks to you.

Jay's funky guitar playing and production expertise can be heard on albums from artists as diverse as Sly Stone, Stephen Bishop, The Veronicas, Siedah Garrett, The Matrix, Edgar Winter, David Paich, and Greek superstar Anna Vissi, to name a few. When he's not writing songs for hit artists, Jay's main passion is writing and recording his own original music. Love many kinds of music, try myself to bring out some spiritual and soulful tunes to reflect or simply to have fun in producing. Doing nightshifts so sometimes if I can focus and "enjoy" and when its a silent night I can listen halfway carefully or in the morning I repeat and hear via headphones without interrupt and in a very relaxed mood, often till my handy fell on my face
