It took them 500 releases spread over 40 years career and a chance encounter to enable the "Tout-Puissant Orchestre Poly-Rythmo de Cotonou" to cross african borders. In 2007, lost in a record shop somewhere between Nokoué Lake and the Gulf of Guinea, a french journalist sealed a pact with a voodoo and agrees to lead them over West. 
Followed a massive tour that led them over NYC, Paris, Chicago, London, Amsterdam, etc. 
It is with passion and humility that Afshin take on their music and offers us a spicy new epic version of their Houe Toue Hon anthem.
