112 kbps preview. This is a cover of the Walter Murphy classic by the super talented Haitian - Canadian pianist Henri-Pierre Noël, a long lost gem from 1979 unearthed by the Wah Wah 45's label and released for the first time last year. Luckily the multitrack tapes had survived so I had the honor to go first on these. First I did a track called 'Diskette' (preview here, it will be out in a couple of months : https://soundcloud.com/thereflex/henri-pierre-no-l-diskette-o) and then this superb version of 'A Fifth Of Beethoven' where Henri-Pierre excels in re-arranging the famous strings and clavinet licks into a masterful piano performance. My version uses all of the original sounds except for the kick drum that I've replaced (+ fx swooshes here and there).
