Air Force Troop 35: Dark Patrol (AFT35:DP) is best described as a collection of dark hearts and rejects that had nothing better to do than learn instruments and write poetry about how dark life is.

Their musical influences include: nobody, because they are on the forefront of dark music exploration.

It was 2006 and front man Sacha Duvall (25) had just learned the alphabet after repeating the last year of school five times while he waited for his girlfriend to become legal. He used his newfound talent to write his first poem “1-2-3”. It read as follows: “One. Two. Free”. Claimed by some critics as a literary genius, and some as a brain-dead retard, his poem never achieved widespread acclaim. As his vocabulary increased from a meager handful of expressions, he found himself adept at recalling all of the negative moments in his life. It was at this vulnerable stage that he met Jarred Pollock (17) – a troubled teenage girl who had burnt her house down. With the insurance money, Jarred’s father, Ezekiel, put a hit out on her life. She changed her name to Jarred to avoid being found. Jarred left town with a pocket full of guitar picks and a guitar slung around her shoulder. Sacha convinced his mom to take Jarred in. When the local youth group had a break-up after fighting over their favourite picture of Jesus, their drummer Eli – was inconsolable. Torn between Christ and a dark place, Eli embraced darkness to his core and began wearing eyeliner. When accused of being a “gay”, Eli left home. He swears to this day that makeup can be worn by completely hetero men. He was last seen walking funny holding hands with a catholic priest. Tobias Tobias is perhaps the most quiet member of the band. He said he would sing, if only he had a voicebox.
