In contrast to “Tehranto” which was a concept album best enjoyed as a complete front-to-back listening experience, “NOTHING nothing” is more of a collage of emotions. Any given song can serve as an entry point for new fans to get into the rest of the album, and by extension Afta’s discography as a whole .
	This album was recorded between 2020 and 2023, a particularly transformative point in Afta’s life. Most of the album was created during his trips to Hollywood and Brooklyn in 2021, with the remainder being finished in his home studio in 2022-23. During this period of travel and chasing opportunities and connections, Afta struggled with a laundry list of traumatic personal events, which went on to inform the content of the album. These include the declining health and eventual passing of his father, a romantic breakup, turmoil with his collaborators, suicidal thoughts, and of course the global pandemic which further complicated these issues.

A psychedelic adventure told through the eyes of Afta Hill. This Up-Tempo banger mirrors the fickle nature of reality under the influence of psilocybin mushrooms. Afta Hill connects his fleeting thoughts and ultimately goes through an ego-death at the end of the song. Layered background vocals make up a lush backdrop for the giant distorted 808. Afta's rapid-fire flow and writing style mirrors old school hip-hop, while his smooth and effortless melodies weave in and out of the pocket.

"Vibin" is produced by Adriano Allahverdi (2X Platinum Producer) and Co-Produced by Afta Hill. Afta Hill is an independent hip-hop/R&B artist from Toronto, Canada. Drawing from his Iranian roots, he seamlessly merges influences from icons like Nas, Frank Ocean, and The Weeknd with elements of Persian culture. His musical journey commenced in his formative years, crafting beats on his older brother's laptop; However, it was his music's frequent features in Casey Neistat's viral daily vlogs on YouTube that propelled him into the limelight, captivating millions and leading Afta to make the bold decision to abandon university in pursuit of his passion for music.
 
Co-founding his independent label and publisher “Bad Faith Records” and assembling a stalwart creative team around himself, Afta took his art to new heights with the highly conceptual “Tehranto” and the eclectic “nothing NOTHING”. These two contrasting studio albums created rich worlds, fully realized with short films, cinematic music videos, visual art, and live shows. Combining this attention to detail with Afta’s polished songwriting engages new listeners while rewarding hardcore fans for deeper exploration.

From humble beginnings of performing in underground shisha lounges, to a Canadian tour and multiple shows in Los Angeles in 2023, Afta continues to gain momentum. With 19 million and counting between his production and artistry, 2024 will be his most ambitious year with the release of a 4 projects quadrilogy and ambitions of a North American tour.
