After Memphis...was formed in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Founded by Monaye Love, Jason O’Heron, and Jeremy Streit, (March, 2016). Stylistically likened to Alabama Shakes, St. Paul & The Broken Bone, The Suffers – to the unexpected – Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings by a diverse listening audience of all ages and groups. Lead singer & songwriter, Monaye Love is a powerhouse delivering powerful and dynamic vocals....the group writes & performs all-original music; with lyrical focus of love, peace, and joy. This musical ensemble, remains rooted in soul rock; serving up a gumbo pot of good-old engaging, upbeat; Americana, Funk, Rhythm & Blues.
