For the first podcast I welcome myself. Not too much to say really, at the age of 18 started going at the local parties and immediately fell in love and digged music for 2 or 3 years and then finally got myself a controller. After a year got myself a turntable, few records and timecodes to practice. Then after a short period got myself another turntable and started mixing vinyl only with love and happiness and truly found myself in rominimal with a slight touch of minimal house/tech. Finally got the opportunity to play in front of a crowd at Muro bar in the city of Zadar. A buddy of mine recognized my sound and shortly after I got two gigs in the capital and played afterhours for the organization “Kisses of techno”.

For volume II we welcome TwoNones. TwoNones (@2nones) is a curious but mythical DJ & producer coming from Slovenia. He’s also known under his main alias KINN (@kinn901). His productions aren't quite common nowadays but they've been heard all over the world from his home country to another side of the Atlantic Ocean. Those events in his life changed his perspective on music and he has begun his own podcast label under the name Mavrica. He knows how to get people hooked to his mixes and since then he's been doing it constantly throughout his years. In today's mix, TwoNones has taken a different approach by going very un-easy minimal which is slowly but surely expanding towards hot groovy elements of house and minimal with a push of breakbeats. For the third volume I present to you Chuba Chubs. He started listening to electronic music in 2017 and in 2019 developed his love for minimal, house and deep tech. For his first gig, he had the honor of warming up Zagrave open air with his deep tech sound where the main star of the evening was the well-known Berlin techno legend Ellen Allien. Later on he was given the opportunities to play at numerous clubs and organizations in Zagreb and Croatia. In 2020 he started his event series called Moxie Grooves and in 2022 he gets his first residency at Smooth events. Wanting to promote underground sound, he got inspired and motivated to start Moxie Grooves mix series in summer 2022. He shared the decks with Terry Francis, KiRiK, Shimammo, Oskar Szafraniec.

For the seventh edition we welcome a romanian heavyweight, which im very happy to have on this podcast, Plusculaar! Born in Romania in the late 80’s, Plusculaar got in touch with the local club scene at a very young age due to his brother’s sake and he suddenly fell in love for that new dreamy world. That was a crucial moment of his life, knowing that music would have been an essential part of his life. Since then, his interests have been 100% focused on music and he rapidly learned first how to djing and then how to produce his own tracks. Moving at the age of 18 to Amsterdam, he started playing both there and on his native Romania, counting more than 100+ venues in his home-country.
His superlative skills behind the decks merged with the constantly growing experience and his finest music selection led him to play in United Kingdom, Switzerland, Spain, Germany, France, Lebanon, Italy, Poland, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Hungary, Holland, and all over Romania, both in clubs, big festival and exclusive intimate private parties.
This whismical journey continued during the years, and in 2014 Plusculaar took one of the biggest step of his career, starting his label called ‘Binaural Arts’ – a place to spread his love for music and idea of sound – which releases music both on vinyl and digital from renowned artists and newcomers and of course his own productions.

For the ninth podcast we welcome someone who I had the joy and pleasure to listen for Cruise (Split), Soulfreq! Soulfreq is a DJ/producer from Rijeka who entered the Croatian electronic music scene in 2017. Since then, he has performed at various events of several organizations such as Dobar House, Liminal and Press Play, where he shared the stage with names such as Kolter, Prunk, Mihai Popoviciu, Dana Ruh, M-High, Mariano Mateljan, Marko Nastić and others.
He started releasing his own music in 2020 on foreign and domestic labels (Nug-Net, Haas Records, Swerve Digital, Dobar House, Kubik and others), and some releases were also on relevant charts such as Mixmag top 10 regional releases and Beatport Top 100 Minimal/Deep Tech releases which were supported by names such as Enzo Siragusa, SIT, Dimmish, Archie Hamilton, Admnti, Project 89 and others.

His introduction to electronic music began in the early 2000s as a passionate lover and "digger", over the years he became a regular visitor to various parties. It took him a while to emerge from behind the DJ booth, but in 2020 he finally found his "favorite frequency" which is often deep and atmospheric. He played in most of the capital's clubs, and lately he has been the most active in Masters. He is also the founder and organizer of the "ADAPTer" event organization. So far, he has had the opportunity to play with most of the national DJs, and among those with a foreign address, the following stand out: Dea Dvornik/ERIS, Sara Dziri, Simm, Pornbugs...
Eloc prefers various genres of electronic music, mostly related to Techno, but this does not prevent him from exploring other (genres) and skilfully connecting them during his sets, which are often unpredictable and of a wider genre spectrum. His idea of playing music is the desire to share with the dancers his energy, knowledge and passion for music, which has been present in his life since an early age.

Makarun is a Croatian DJ, producer, event manager, and co-founder of the label Kubik Music. He made his debut in 2018 at the renowned Rijeka club Život, and soon after launched the event series MinimalCheck alongside fellow artist Nino Barbin.

Over the years, Makarun has cultivated a diverse musical journey — moving through microhouse, minimal, deep tech, deep house, and funk — always in search of a sound that truly reflects his identity. His curiosity and passion for experimentation have led him towards a darker, rawer sonic palette, where he now feels most at home in techno and trance.

Driven by emotion and intuition, Makarun sees music as a form of expression. He’s known as a dedicated enthusiast who thrives on discovering new sounds and pushing boundaries. In addition to DJing, he explores rhythm machines and semi-hybrid live setups, adding a personal and dynamic touch to his performances. 

Makarun is also the co-founder of Kubik Music, a young, independent Croatian label focused on minimal and deep tech, which he runs together with Teskera.
As a producer, he released his first track in 2020 on Peanut Recordings, followed by several releases on THANQ Music, where he debuted his first solo EP in 2021 and later released his first NFT track.
In early 2022, he dropped “Twisted Plastic” on his home label Kubik Music, as part of a Various Artists compilation.

Although still relatively new to the scene, Makarun has built a solid presence over the past five years. His performances include notable appearances in Rijeka and beyond, a guest set in Romania at SunChase Events (Opus Club), and festivals such as Sea Star, Gardance, Thru The Bushes, Blue Circle Open Air, Carneval Di Session, and Masters in Zagreb…

There’s no doubt — his time is only just beginning

The modest DJ from Solin (HR) has been active on the scene since the early 2000s, initially playing at private parties before making his official debut in 2011.
His love for electronic music roots back to teenage years, listening to dance music, dream house & trance, exploring through The Prodigy progressive sounds, but something was missing.
When he for the first time heard those dark, mystical, deep, stringy, groovy sounds coming from radio show Wondersound, hosted by DJ Pero Fullhouse, he finally heard what he has always been waiting for – house and techno.
Since then, universe aligned. Possesed by this new, raw, undiscovered energy, he focuses solely on becoming a DJ and has become a true vinyl and turntable enthusiast.
He has played numerous sets, performing alongside both local and international artists.
In 2018, together with a group of like -minded individuals, co-founded Los Barbaros collective, which began organizing events and producing a series of YouTube podcasts featuring interesting local scene guests.
His style knows no boundaries.
Be prepared to hear every electronic sound his trained ear has collected and carefully mind-sorted.

DJ Labud is semi-professional DJ from Zagreb, Croatia.  He started DJ-ing in 2001 as a member of notorious Zagreb DJ duo Uomini Plus. He leaves group overloaded with scandals in 2005 to pursue independent career in the field of DJ-ing. Since 2010 he is a member of the Ekstrakt crew, organization devoted to promoting exciting “Techno” and “House” sounds in the Zagreb area. Currently he's a resident of cult Zagreb club Masters, where he runs his monthly Smack! clubnight. His hobbies include recreational fishing, Internet and reminiscing about good old days.
