✔️ What are your musical influences? What is your musical background?

Metal, Hardcore, Metalcore, Rock and everything else with heavy guitars in it :D

✔️What makes good "afterhour"?

Really good people around me, a Spezi and fresh socks!


✔️ Do you have any thoughts you would like to share about your set?

I'd say it's a 'classic Intaktogene set' - lots of basslines, lots of melodies, quite some vocals but always driving.  I play what I missed the most on dance floors. Music with melodies that touch the heart and a bassline finding it's way right into your bones. Making your feet move even if you're exhausted. 

✔️ What was your experience of the set you recorded?

I love playing at Rote Dichte, it brings together so many different people and I have the sweetest encounters every time. Last year a couple came up to me saying in 25 years of raving they have never cried until my set because it touched them so much. They were there again this year and even brought me a little gift. HOW Sweet is that!

People feeling what I feel whilst I play means the most to me because first of all it's exactly what I try to do 'Musik mit Herz und Wumms' (Music with Heart & Oomph). Secondly - it's so special when there is a floor full of completely different people,  all feeling the same thing for one moment. If we had more of that in the world, many problems would be solved so much easier

Despite having different musical roots, Intaktogene accidentally found herself behind the turn tables. Just for fun. But fun turned into passion, and the Gods of techno had different plans.

I'm glad I recorded it. During my performance I wasn't sure if everything was ok, but now I know, my headphones were obviously about to break. Something was weird with the sound on my headphones, that made me a bit insecure because everything sounded weird and I couldn't define what was wrong while I was playing. The truth is: not every set feels like: wow, my best set...sometimes it's the little things that can throw you off while playing, so I'm even happier that after listening to the recording I can say: it was pretty good after all 🙂

Und plötzlich war es Herbst. Mein euphorischer Festivalsommer 2024 war zu Ende. Das Wetter hatte umgeschlagen, es war nass und kalt, ich war zurück in Berlin, und der Kalender für die nächsten Wochen und Monate noch völlig leer. 

Ich musste mich für dieses Jahr von dem verabschieden, was mich die letzten Monate so erfüllt hatte. Meine Campingsachen lagen da zum Lüften und Trocknen und mussten weggeräumt werden. Was würde nun passieren? Und welche Menschen würden bleiben, mit denen ich den Sommer verbracht hatte? Ich wollte Musik finden, die diese Stimmung in mir beschreibt. Worte erschienen mir nicht angemessen, um die Komplexität und Tiefe auszudrücken. 

Und dann ist dieses Set entstanden. Mein allererstes. Es drückt genau das aus, was Musik am allermeisten für mich ist. Etwas, das mich auffängt und mir Geborgenheit schenkt. Viel Freude damit!
