About this EP :
Introducing "Madifayou," the vibrant new release from @don-mescal  and Soul of Zoo, featuring the multi-instrumentalist Stephane Salerno. This EP is a tribute to the music of the Tuareg people from North Mali, capturing the essence of their culture and spirit. "Madifayou" transports listeners to the vast desert landscapes of the desert where music is not just a form of expression but a way of life. Stephane Salerno's mastery of various instruments adds depth and authenticity to the sound, creating a truly immersive experience. To add a unique twist, we have invited Mexican artist Badwolf and Ukrainian producer Jean Vayat to create special indie dance remixes. At the beginning of October, we are releasing an EP that we are especially excited about! After dazzling us with several remixes over the past few months, the time has come to introduce you to the debut EP from @laaarmusic on our label, titled "Of Mind and Matter".

The two original tracks from our talented Israeli friend are a playful and dreamy journey, reminiscent of the driving yet mellow sound that first drew us to the world of downtempo. To complete the release, we've added two thrilling remixes from @deisenmusic and @jonasfasching, each bringing their own unique interpretation.

We'd like to express our deepest gratitude to all the amazing artists involved, as well as to our graphic designer Kilian Van de Water and mastering engineer Haunted Water.

"Geplantes Nichtstun German for ""planned idleness"" emerged around 2006 as the name for an innovative electronic project. Most people call the artist just ""Geplantes"", not knowing his face, which tends to engender fun moments. Luckily, one doesn't need to know his face to enjoy the nearly 50 tracks he has released, and Kamai Music is grateful to help add three more to this stellar catalogue.
Surrogot EP opens with ""Kleine Korrektur"", which employees skillfully composed synth and pad motifs that intertwine with intricately layered percussive elements and hypnotic arpeggios, creating a sense of introspection and flow. In ""The Toxic Tandem"", subtle variations in percussive elements along with synth and pads sounds weave that nicely in and out of its soundscape contribute to an overall moody, immersive sound. Rooted in jazz phrasing, improvisation, and syncopated rhythmics, “So Dreamed Times” blends melancholic piano with triumphant trumpets and deep house energy. Playful, distorted vocals repeat like an autogenic training, turning fragments of a lullaby into a surreal, autobiographical reflection — an embrace of both melancholy and empowerment on the path to brighter days. / This track emerges from my jazz background, where I wanted to explore phrasing, improvisation, and the textures of acoustic instruments. I began with the idea of playing with rhythms and sounds that evoke the atmosphere of a jazzy lullaby, then placed them within a deep, powerful house landscape. Playful distorted vocals weave through the track, recalling the lullaby theme while carrying lyrics that shift between the surreal and the biographical - Luisa Rossini, a.k.a. NoN project, is a music producer, singer, multi-instrumentalist, and DJ.
NoN project began as a jazz singer before diving into electronic production, blending downtempo, deep house, melodic techno, trip-hop, and nu-jazz. Her style merges Italian-inflected vocals, jazzy warmth, distorted tones, and surreal lyrics with layers of guitar, synths, trumpet, and piano over deep house grooves and syncopated beats. Eclectic and playful, she creates soundscapes that move from dreamy atmospheres to vibrant dance-floor energy, reflecting the diversity of her musical journey.
