Swiss music producer Thom Nagy - @thomnagy - released his "Damals" EP last year. The compilation involved his distinctive broad sounds, fluttering synths and warm subtly-applied basses. The EP's three tracks have now been remixed and will be published as Basel-based Gelbes Billet Musik's 30th release on April 30th, 2014.

Der Schweizer Musikproduzent Thom Nagy - @thomnagy - brachte im vergangenen Jahr seine EP "Damals" raus. Die Zusammenstellung bestand aus seinen charakteristischen, weiten Hallräumen, flatternden Synths und warmen, subtil eingesetzten Bässen. Die drei Werke der EP wurden nun geremixed und am 30. April 2014 auf dem Label auf dem Label Gelbes Billett Musik, das in Basel sitzt, als 30. Katalognummer veröffentlicht. Now bringing his unparalleled experience and expertise to the fore, Richard Dorfmeister is once again at the vanguard of the underground dance movement as he draws together some of the finest talents to grace the music industry. "The Exchange" is thus a club-oriented collaborative that is built upon the foundations of modern dub in a bid to create a timeless sound that is certain to light up dancefloors across the globe with an iridescent aural glow.

Featuring a host of talents, Dorfmeister teams up with global stars to create a 10-track tour de force that highlights Gotan Project's Philippe Cohen Solal on the deep and soulful, "Which One Are You", while the prolific and esteemed US producer, Brendon Moeller, demonstrates his exquisite musical technique in "Sirene". The vocal talents of Rob Gallagher, whose work as long-time guest vocalist for Dorfmeister's Tosca project plus Kruder & Dorfmeister's legendary live tours, creates a moment of dub-infused magic with production maestro, Mato, on "Earth Man" and "Run Run Run". Further vocal contributions then come from OG Spiritual Godess' Latino-inspired, "Famba", and long-time collaborator, Tweed, whose passion for reggae shines through on "You Know How".

Austrian talent is well-represented with Stefan Obermaier and Megablast making their presence felt throughout with flowing deep house vibes and club grooves, while Steve Cobby, whose classic "Fila Brazil" and "The Solid Doctor" albums saw him gain notoriety, now see the UK producer hitting his stride on the body-shaking grooves of "Keep on Risin" with typically understated British flair.

With Richard Dorfmeister masterminding a melting pot of creative talent, "The Exchange" of musical ideas has resulted in 10-track album of pure gold.

Nine months after releasing Acuds Verbrennungsmotor Ep, we are not done with it yet. We found five wonderful artists to get everything out of the engine, which resulted in this new Remix EP. The title track, produced by ACUD and BEATMÖRTELZ, is here new interpreted in an impressive way by the downtempo specialists ARUTANI and O/Y, by RODION (ALIEN ALIEN), which is known for his massive Nu-Disco Skills, and finally, in a faster version, by AIO. Further LUKAS ENDHARDT gives the poetic track FLIEGEPETER a new look. The original version by ACUD will be published also in a radio version.

What started as an small idea developed over the years into an important institution in the field of electronic dance in and beyond germany. Our goal was and still is to enrich the world with different interpretations of the afterhour. 

In the beginning, we focused our passion on finding and supporting (un)known artists through blog posts, reposts and podcast contributions. Gradually, we expanded our sections to include live recordings and premieres. In-house releases and events were not long in coming. The crew changed, but the passion and spirit remained.
