A lovingly crafted composition equals a passionately prepared dish. Each musical element is like an ingredient. It has a designated place and is added carefully in a specific order. The basis is always a crisp kick-bass foundation, comparable to a carefully chosen carbohydrate source. A pinch of salt here, a spicy effect for the hi hats there. Just like a delicious dish, a quality composition needs time to develop. Even here, a recipe is a good base, a little freestyle makes it even better. So that it ends up crispy but fluffy inside. The "Crispy Base" remix by Just Emma is just delicious as the original song. Overall, its a bit faster and more tech-infused. It features more LFO-driven elements, resulting in an exciting arrangement filled with fluffy breaks, a melodious drop and a allready known Deep Pan Pizza signature. Temple Tears & AiRKA audibly incorporate influences from the realm of hip-hop in their three originals: The EP's title and also main track 'Crip Walk‘ pay homage to a famous dance move from the old-school hip-hop era. This influence is distinctly heard in the tracks' gangsta-toned vibes, which evoke the gritty essence of hip-hop culture.
Iorie’s 'ZeroEightOneFive‘-remix of the main track introduces an even darker, dirtier sound that surprises with some ironic vocals.

We're back with an absolute banger, and this time, we've got our buddies from the world's slowest airline in tow. We're of course talking about the universally beloved and celebrated producers, Air Horse One, who truly live up to their name with their sound.

The two original tracks take you on a bewildering journey into the land of Kuddelmuddel and have been expertly reinterpreted by NUAH, Rufus Rabatz, Esmaeili, and Augenstein and we couldn't be happier with the result.

Afterhour Sounds is since his begining in 2012 a crew of music lovers, music makers and music supporters. What started as an small idea developed over the years into an important institution in the field of electronic dance in and beyond germany. Our goal was and still is to enrich the world with different interpretations of the afterhour. 

In the beginning, we focused our passion on finding and supporting (un)known artists through blog posts, reposts and podcast contributions. Gradually, we expanded our sections to include live recordings and premieres. In-house releases and events were not long in coming. The crew changed, but the passion and spirit remained.
