An Ukrainian DJ since 2003, Silat Beksi is a new name in the underground scene. He made his debut in 2013 with releases at Moral Fiber, Sakadat and Body Parts Records, to name just a few. Silat Beksi is part of Tzinah Records and Mulen Records, where he chose to release his first album in 2014. After this, Silat Beksi goes vinyl-only, releases his personal imprint, forms pleasant collaborations, and is being played and supported worldwide at the best underground and unique after-hour moments. With Tzinah’s Family support and influence, as well as a house & techno approach to his DJ style, Silat Beksi is producing mesmerizing sets by blending breakbeat vibes and special (imprinted) textures with sounds made to lose oneself on a dance floor.

Currently based in London, Bacau native Yuda has been consistently winning over hearts and minds with his deeply rhythmic and transportive Techno sound. His sets blend stunning melodic lines, pulsating low end grooves and rolling hypnotic textures into a sonic tapestry that transports you to another time and place.. a trait that's afforded him the chance to grace the booths of London hotspots like 'The Yard Theatre' & 'Rolling Stock'. The future looks incredibly bright for this wonderful talent and we are extremely excited to watch him make his own mark on the underground.

Cosmin Dumitru by his real name, is born in eastern talent pool Braila and currently living in Bucharest. Quite a discrete figure in the scene, he shared his music with the crowd in various independent projects with fellow Clep and lovely Miss I; big vinyl junkie, he had numerous appearances in Misbits Record Shop clashes.

Coming to speak about Misbits, he is also co-creator and curator in Misbits Recordings with Ioana Parlog, an exquisite label “drawing its energies from nature’s unspoiled soundscapes.” 

In more recent projects he developed with Alexandru Mitroi an experimental, ambient act – Bogus. Cosmin contributes in the performance with electronica of drum machines, synths, keyboards, effects and samples from field recordings while Alexandru plays the electronic guitar altered with various effects, all morphing into atmospheric rhythms and effects. 

We had the inspiration to record Momentdat’s set from “Bucuresti Underground meets friends” event that took place on 24.04.2019 in Control Club.

We continue our Podcast Series with a mix hosted by Straja located in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Since there is no better way to express the Romanian sound, we are very pleased to host our first Romanian guest and one of the country's finest talents. After making several podcasts and track releases on different labels, we asked the DJ and producer to do it a little differently this time. That is, we wanted to put him in the spotlights where he truly receives a platform for his great work. As a result, Straja made its podcast for Implimind solely relying on his own productions, making this week a little bit more special, due to the circumstances around the world. 

In his Implicit Mind Cast, he gives us the perfect chance to take a look into his head. This includes Straja's newest unreleased tracks in combination with some of his released tracks. The composer lets you join his journey by exposing the audience to dashing basses, percussive details, and spacey ambient sensibilities.
