Ingredients:
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
5 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
Prepare the chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika on both sides.
Cook the chicken:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should be 165°F).
Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Make the sauce: In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and stir.
Bring it to a simmer and cook for 3-4 minutes to thicken slightly.
Add Parmesan and season:
Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning.
Let the sauce simmer for another 2-3 minutes until it's smooth and creamy.
Combine and serve:
Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, spooning the sauce over them.
Let the chicken heat through for another 2-3 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve!
Serve the creamy garlic Parmesan chicken over pasta, rice, or with a side of steamed vegetables.
