'Episode 8' was the first song that caught our attention and set thefoundation for this release. It felt like the perfect follow up to Joseph’s 'Eavesdrop', released on the 20 Years Cocooncompilation earlier this year. One of our very few shows in 2020 at Caprice has been the final testing ground for 'Episode 8' and the like-minded 'Cobalt'. Both tracks deliver plenty of energy for the dancefloors that we all miss so much and we can’t wait for you to hear these two on a big sound system. The eponymous track possesses a unique andtrippy composition that builds and multiplies in intensitybefore the break circles back to a burst of synaesthesia-inducing array of colors

Mind Against are back on Afterlife with two emotive, dancefloor masterpieces. ‘Walking Away’, featuring the deeply-affecting vocals of Port St. Willow, centers around uplifting harmonic elements and a resonant drum pattern. It strikes that special balance of light and dark which makes Mind Against’s tracks uniquely cathartic. ‘Bloom’ is more a melancholy, downtempo interpretation of their vision. The percussion is restrained and sits deep below atmospheric pads and piano chords, eventually arriving at a gradual and subtle peak. Mind Against reach euphoric heights once again, though this time by a patient and reflective path.
