Featuring contributions from a cast of talent located all over the world and bound together by the paralysis of our culture. ‘Unity Pt. 2’ maintains the same premise as the first installment, gathering together a collection of 25 stunning cuts designed to transport you into another realm.

Right now unity is a key word for our global community. Clubs remain closed, lives are on hold and the difficulties that have arisen from this situation are ever present for many of us. The intention here is to raise awareness for causes dear to our hearts, through the power of music. Standing together for humanity, giving support to those who need it and using our platform to shine a light on the underrepresented voices.

On this huge compilation you’ll be graced with a multitude of sounds, from sombre, melancholy tones and introspection to brighter euphoric moments and pumping energy, with the space to meditate and transcend this reality into other worlds. Travel back to the dance floor, join forces with your best friends, dance with a lover or simply close your eyes and travel inwards. Stephan Bodzin proves once again why he is one of the most innovative techno artists in the world with new album Boavista. The expressive 17 track full length lands on Herzblut Recordings on October 8th 2021 and is proceeded by lead single 'Boavista' on the Afterlife label.

German icon Stephan Bodzin is globally recognised on a number of fronts - his live show is one of techno's most celebrated, his productions constantly push the genre forward with his own trademark sound. He has put out well-received solo long players Liebe Ist and Powers of Ten as well as worked on many other iconic projects under a range of aliases.

'Nothing Like You' was written in a hotel room before Stephan's last pre-lockdown gig.

Boavista is another exquisitely crafted album of rich, synth-heavy electronic music that takes you into new worlds of emotion and leaves you in awe.

While Stephan Bodzin's Beatport No.1 album 'Boavista' still reverberates around the world, the techno mainstay has now collected 25 of the scene's most interesting artists to add their own remixes. The likes of Solomun, Dubfire, Mind Against, Roman Flugel, Agents of Time, Anna, Wehbba, Hernan Cataneo & Soundexile and many more all make this a richly diverse affair.

This is a collection packed with gems from the off: Diynamic label boss Solomun opens up with his lively melodic take on Rose featuring cosmic synths and neon pads, his label mates Adriatique then go deep with their take on River and Italian duo Mind Against layer up the astral synths to epic effect with their Earth remix.

Jupiter Jazz aka Maceo Plex & AVNU then link for a remix of Theory Of Everything that is filled with swirling synth colours and German maestro Roman Flugel flips Earth into a cinematic track with pensive pads and digitalised leads. There is also classy progressive house from Patrice Baumel, widescreen techno from ANNA and hard, acid tinged techno from Reinier Zonneveld as well as suppler rolling rhythms from Dubfire with many other standout remixes in between.
