Release Info: 
Melodic techno label TRAUMWEG is back with its fourth release, and along with two stunning original tracks by Border Wave, there are also remixes by ANII of Anjunadeep, Afterlife, Kompakt and Stil Vor Talent.

Border Wave is a new artist making his debut release. Fusing emotive vocals with powerful basslines and soaring pads makes for a perfect combination. Little is known about the secretive producer, but it’s a spectacular first outing that shows off an impressive pedigree.

ANII is a London based producer who has already proven herself with releases on many of the labels leading the melodic house and techno genres. After originally starting as a drum & bass producer, she has evolved into the world of four to the floor kick drums. Her enchanting use of melody helps create a majestic sound that really stands out.

“Icefall” opens the release with a bassline that pays homage to the style of other artists, but it’s in no way a carbon copy, and with the stunning female vocals adding a unique twist.

“Run Fast” is second of the originals, and its string stabs with emotive male vocals give it a cinematic feel. Dramatic and full of suspense, it’s got a charismatic sound perfect for the dance floor.

ANII’s remix of Icefall condenses the vocal into the main breakdown, but adds a new percussion, and a more understated bassline that allows the original's melody to become the lead element. There is also a dub version where the vocal is completely removed to give the breakdown extra intensity.

There is also a Lullaby version of Icefall that strips away the percussion to deliver an ambient version where the full emotion of the vocal can be felt.

After the successful collaboration of Label Boss Ryan Davis & "Creatures" remix contest winner Lmnskt we are presenting you two well crafted reinterpretations of two close friends of the label & ambitious musicians that we continuously have an eye on.
The first one is presented by Aparde who triggers the vibes of Hadron to a different state of groove with the moogy bassline and the lush percussion. His sensitive approach for music is what makes him stand out of other musicians and adds exactly the vibe we expected of him.
Luis Junior who recently joined the famous kompakt label crew uses his strenght to take things straight to the dancefloor and focuses on the club elements to make Kope even more hypnotic & effective.

Ryan Davis Feat. Lmnskt - Hadron (Aparde Remix)

Sascha Braemer did a fantastic job remixing this intense and atmospheric track by creating a beautiful kaleidoscope of colours using a psychedelic blend of swinging electro bass and short string risers. CENTVRIES returns to German label BEANS & BACON with "Tension" EP  which is set to be released on the 21st of August.

Exclusive Nuiton 'Kure'

With two releases on Exit Strategy, namely 'Cherry Protocol' and 'Out Of Prism', Nuiton has already left his mark in the (melodic) electronic music scene. Now the producer returns to the Berlin-based label to contribute two tracks to its first various artist EP, 'Shifting Pieces' – as the artist himself musically shifts from raw minimalistic and dub-techno influenced music and spreads a sense of 'Burialism' with his 'Kure' take, which is named after the eponymous Japanese city that is known for engineering, its steel-industry and ship building, so basically everything that 'Kure' covers in a musical way. A hammering bass line, straight out of a steel-forge, is the backbone of this massively minimalistic held track that is enriched with deep dub-chords and haunting vocals adding a mystically dark vibe that is supported by those little floating background sounds. Rarely or almost never before have such exquisitely arranged elements had such a huge effect on an outcome, which can be simply called 'the melodic steel-hammer' hitting its way through the floor. 

'Shifting Pieces' will be released on Exit Strategy on November 15th, 2019.
