Cliff and Frezel join forces for the first time and On a Riot was born. A delicate beginning that introduces a powerful dirty arpeggio which is the foundation of the entire track. Halfway a howling synth cuts through the mix and is joined by wobbling airy pads to glue it all together. A beautiful collab by these melodic masters!

A strong foundation has been built through these full sounding percussions. After the mesmerizing chord progression comes in it all seems to start floating. The symbiosis of sounds is just perfect. Hypnotizing is the more progressive track of the compilation. Very much club oriented, this is one that will make everyone move their feet for sure! While at the same time you’ll get lost in their captivating synth-work and piano play.

In this EP he exceeds all expectations and created two monster tracks which will echo loudly trough the deep spaces of the most underground clubs for years to come. Together with the input of remixers Stoertebeker (Half of Unique Repeat) and the great South African Ryan Sullivan this has become one hell of an EP.

The first track 'Interstellar' is a story where power and subtlety come together. The powerful bassline will blast the roof from every club and the subtle melody will bring many into a deep and satisfying space. This track is ever changing yet maintains one wonderful vibe.

'Abusir' is the twenty-second release of Aftertech Records by the upcoming heroes Di Rugerio and The Note V. This duo originating from Mexico have really found each other in this EP. Rugerio’s inspiring melodies work very well with The Note V’s deep and groovy sound. And who better to make a remix for these amazing talents than Th Moy. All together they deliver one hell of an EP that is both suitable for dreaming away at home and blowing you away on the dance floor.

Th Moy has definitely put his own stamp on ‘Abusir’. In this remix, he took the original melody blending it together with a long and growling bassline. Throughout the entire track, it keeps growing in strength. An arpeggio keeps building tension until that moment when it all explodes. Th Moy screams of a melancholic story in this wonderful remix. A perfect ending for a great EP!

The Note V & Di Rugerio - Abusir (Th Moy Remix)

Der Slaufkugel, as the name suggests, is a killer of a track. It doesn’t take long before the heavy bassline reveals itself and the tone of the track is set. A wobbing synth, together with smart use of percussion, lead you forward towards a massive drop. Even then he manages to keep the track growing in strength until finally the melody comes in and everything comes together.

We Need Crack’s made the more subtle remix of the two. It starts out dreamy which is strengthened by a kind of vocal-like pluck. Although of its dreamy vibe the track has something clubby as well. A light arpeggio slowly works towards a break after which the bassline is finally introduced. The moment they make you yearn for so badly. The arpeggio works in perfect harmony with the bassline as if it is floating on the waves of a deep sea. A perfect addition to this great EP!

The second track is called Seegang. It has a mysterious beginning with dreamy pads and synth blowing on top of a strong and groovy percussion. Once the growling bassline is introduced calmness is created only to grow in power again with the help of smartly placed special effects and a never ending melody. Halfway the melody changes, gains more power and body, taking you way. It really is a track that takes a hold on you and doesn’t let go.

Thanks to the vocals this one has a kind of Africa vibe to it. However, the track is also very dreamy and spacy which gives this track such a unique feeling. The combination works wonders. Together with heavy brass sounds, airy leads and the implementation of a strong groove this is one hell of a track!
