This tune finds it's inspiration from the monochromatic tones of black to dark grey. Brooding, mysterious, melancholy and lot's of other descriptive words embody this short solo piano improvisation.

Continuing with my Short Vignette Series, this one is a little different.  This piece is dedicated to the 9 lost in the most recent events in Charleston, South Carolina​'s AME Church.  My heart goes out to the families and loved ones of these 9 and pray for restoration not only as a church, but as a community and a nation.

11  Snow Patrol - The Lightning Strike [Parts 1,2 and 3]

After spending some forced time recuperating from a hospital procedure this is what I was feeling when I sat at the piano today!

It's a little on the "dark" side not because anything went wrong, but recuperation is quite boring!
