To celebrate our 13th anniversary, we look back on the highs and lows that shaped our label. Berg & Tal (German for “mountain & valley”) reflects the journey of Afterwork Sounds – from our very first releases to the deep, atmospheric sound we stand for today.

The compilation features 13 tracks from 13 years of music, remixes, and friendships. Some artists continued under new names, some left music behind, but all of them left their mark on our story.

This VA is more than just a collection of tracks – it’s a time capsule, documenting our growth as a small family label founded near Augsburg in 2012, and a love letter to everyone who has supported us along the way.

Munich-based producer OSKA O makes his Afterwork Sounds debut with P2600, a groovy yet atmospheric deep house cut. The track blends lo-fi textures, hypnotic pads, and warm, rolling rhythms – perfect for late-night moods as well as deep house dancefloors.

Spanish deep house veteran Deephope reworks P2600 into an elegant, silky groove. His remix delivers refined musicality, smooth textures, and a timeless flow – combining deep club energy with soulful finesse.

Afterwork Sounds continues its journey with release AWS067, 'The Flower He Brings' – the second chapter of our new visual era.

Munich-based producer OSKA O follows up his debut 'P2600' with another signature deep house cut: warm, hypnotic, and atmospheric, yet built for the dancefloor. Jazzy textures blend seamlessly with rolling grooves, delivering both emotion and drive.

On remix duties, Afterwork Sounds label heads Li.La reimagines the track into a lush, melodic trip – adding layers of subtle harmonies and refined underground energy. Together, the original and remix showcase two perspectives on the same theme: deep, timeless, and unmistakably Afterwork.

After 'FOCUS', the next track 'ELEVATE' has now been released and is supported by a Dub Techno remix by the Colombian DJ & producer Ye-Llow.

Sometimes things come together that simply harmonize very well. We recently had the pleasure of meeting DJ & producer LHOR from California and immediately fell in love with his music.

LHOR's debut release is called "What Are U Looking For" and is a must for every mixtape and/or playlist. Open air sound for the late summer.

His style goes in the direction of Organic House with some progressive elements. Delicate vocals, rhythmic groove and strong melodies characterize his music.

Support for his track 'What Are U Looking For' comes from Afterwork Sounds founders Li.La, who contribute a piano-heavy and atmospheric remix.

It was only natural that we added him to our artist roster and we want to continue working with LHOR in the future.
