Artist- Activist, Brooklyn born and raised ,Afua’s vocal styles consist of, but are not limited to, gospel, blues, and soul and she educates on the history of the Negro spiritual and its detailed modern influence. Afua has written and produced her own dance and sacred music. She has appeared with The Elektrik Company, The Roots, Pete Malinverni, Sarah Dash and others and appeared over the years in concert in several venues including Carnegie Hall, 54 Below, The Blue Note, Highline Ballroom, Waldorf Astoria, & SXSW Music Festival. 
Afua advocates on behalf of female victims of domestic human trafficking and child sexual exploitation.
