Father Ocean X Afzali Remix

With their second EP, Book II, the Lepiszcze duo showcases a brighter side while still embracing experimentation. The four tracks offer a diverse range of organic instrumental sounds grounded in a solid club-electronic foundation. The blend of catchiness and melodicism is paired with an unconventional approach to form, incorporating unique rhythmic structures and unorthodox meters (6/4 and 5/4) into club music.

The standout track on Book 2 —a piece that ignited dance floors at major summer festivals months before its official release. This epic, over-7-minute journey contrasts colorful mandolin and bell sounds with a powerful bass and a forward-driving rhythm. The track is built on a rare 6/4 meter for this genre, posing a challenge for DJs but not for the dancing crowd.
