Always searching for music with openness and curiosity, and with a love for discovering new gems that only grows stronger with time. With a playful approach to blending tracks and styles when behind the decks, there's always another wave of energy coming, trying to connect genres and harmonies to create a state of flow.

A handful of carefully curated productions can also be heard on labels like EYA, Partisan, Det Gode Selskab, OsloGround and the imprint Blossy run with his partner in music, love and life.

The first instalment of our FRESHMIX Series comes from Norwegian DJ, producer and Blossy label co-founder A:G. The Oslo based music afficionado has been slowly but steadily been making a name for himself in Oslo and beyond. With releases on Fresh Tunez, Partisan, EYA Records and on Blossy he is no strager to us and has been steadily pumping out quality tunes and well crafted DJ sets.

FRESHMIX001 - A:G

Posting sets on my own profile is quite rare, but as I managed to salvage bits of this closing set from a faulty recorder I wanted to share this with you all!

Me and my mate Ole HK joined forces for our 30th and 40th, fueled by NNNN sound and around 150 friends in a defunct shopping mall with an ongoing Banksy exhibition. Rarely have I been passing and receiving more hugs and experiencing better intimate dancefloor energy in one night, and this ending felt quite magical to experience and definitely one for the much mentioned books.

While we wait for the next podcast I'm happy to share a partial recording from an amazing gig I had in Tromsø a few weeks back! Sadly the recorder didn't have enough battery till the end, but luckily some energy waves were recorded.

This summer (3rd July) Oslo based promoters and acclaimed record label, Det Gode Selskab will release their 2020 sampler on Bandcamp. The first in what is set to become an extensive list of contemporary annual samplers from the imprint. After several years of business, earning their stripes as a vital part of night culture in Norway, the tight knit set up pride themselves on their open minded, family-like community, a stronghold at the forefront of the gay and queer community in Oslo. Standing in solidarity, striving to educate and reignite the unforgettable history of house music and the avalanche effect it has had on modern dance music. An effect which should never be tarnished, but echoed time and time again. House music from the start, in spaces such as US warehouses in the 80’s, have always provided a safe haven for black, queer and alternative people, paving the way for the people of today, a space for freedom, allowing creativity to flourish.

Enhancing their strong beliefs, and what they strive to achieve as a whole, acknowledging the effect that disco, house, hip hop, funk, soul, jazz and rock has had on modern society, the sampler release will work towards donations for Black History Month Norway with 50% of sales in July being donated to them, going towards further operations and developments of the project.
