The Renca Reserve in Brazil is one of the most diverse and untouched jungles in the world. It is now under threats of deforestation by greedy individuals, blinded by the monetary interests of the mining industry.

« Renca reserve in the eastern Amazon is home to the indigenous Aparai, Wayana and Wajapi tribes as well as vast swaths of untouched forest, covering more than 46,000 square kilometres.

Renca contains important reserves of gold, manganese, iron and copper which until now have been available only to relatively low-level state-owned mining. Illegal miners also operate in the area.»

A school where the main focus is to teach Yawanawa language to the children of the “Nova Esperança” village, which is the largest Yawanawa community in the area, (Acre, Brazil), with the largest number of children, (180 children in a population of 300 people).

Gingaí is the tribal downtempo music project of Portuguese artist Henrique Saias, a rising talent in the global folktronica scene.  He is passionate about musical cultural heritage and traditions such as the Australian aborigines’ didgeridoo and the Afro-Brazilian art of capoeira.  His sound brings the sonic and vibrational essence of these and other cultures from around the world.

The Gingaí sound web is filled with tribal elements, warm synths and elaborate percussions.  In the stories he weaves, he’s as fluent in the meditative and transcendental as he is in the expansive ritual of dance.  His music floods the dancefloor with earthy basslines, rattles, driving groove and positive energy. 

"My music is deeply rooted in our shared ancestry, sourced from the primal heritage alive in our collective unconscious. An icon of the tammorra, Luca has dedicated his life to preserving and renewing the musical roots of his homeland, transforming ancient rhythms into a contemporary language that speaks to a global audience.

His concerts are much more than performances: they are shared experiences, sonic journeys that unite cultures, generations, and hearts. Through the energy of percussion and the power of tradition, Luca conveys the beauty of folk music, turning it into a universal language of connection and joy.

In addition to his career as a performer, Luca Rossi is a tireless educator: he conducts workshops, labs, and artistic collaborations, bringing the tammorra and the musical culture of Southern Italy to the world’s most important stages. His mission is clear: to keep tradition alive, spread genuine emotion, and share the unique rhythm of Southern Italy with the world.

Before his solo career, he collaborated on albums, tours, and soundtracks with Nuova Compagnia di Canto Popolare, Marcello Colasurdo, Enzo Avitabile, Teresa De Sio, Inti-Illimani, and Nicolas Jaar.

In 2014, he released his first album, "Pulecenella Love", which was nominated for the Targa Tenco that same year.

He continues to perform intensively, both in Italy and abroad.

Written during one of the large forest fires in the Amazon rainforest. I was devastated and heartbroken to see what we as humankind are doing to our forests and Trees. In my helplessness, all I knew to do was to write a song for the trees. From this ‘Music plants trees’ was born with a vision of exactly that, that music itself can plant trees through giving donations from every ticket, download, album sale etc. towards Tree planting projects. In doing so both planting more trees on this earth and raising awareness of deforestation and the importance of Trees for our planet and our survival.

"Natural Symphony" is the amazing new project of the UK based electronic music artist, Joey Dean. He has been making music for many years but in 2019 he went to Bali where he had a life-changing experience that changed the course of his musical career. During a sound and light ceremony in the pyramid of Chi, he received a vision and an empowering message from a Tree, leading him on a new journey to try to help heal the planet by using plants to make music. ⁠

The idea behind this is to show the unseen connection between humanity and nature.⁠

"Boca De La Montaña" was created while living on top of a hill in the jungle of Nicaragua, overlooking the pacific ocean. It is the name of a small camino that leads into the hills of the area. When asked to create something for this project I immediately knew that I was going to make something connected to the beautiful nature surrounding me. I used to work in Reforestation in Canada, I spent five summers planting thousands of trees around the country. I have a very deep connection with trees and nature, working so closely with them and living in the forest for so much time, this is actually what inspired the sound of my project "J.Pool". I really hope that someday soon we learn to live in harmony with our surroundings and form a symbiotic relationship with this earth so we can live as peacefully and healthy as possible!
