I think this may be my favorite one yet! The collection of vocals with a nice melodic stretch in the middle stands out to me, and I managed to fit in three tracks from Childish, Lane 8’s new album that I’ve had on repeat the last few weeks. The tones and keys in this mix had me feeling all the feels :)

With a 2025 on the horizon, I went for a more of a calm, reflective, and serene energy with this one. I’m proud of how many different sounds and melodies are in here, and I think there are a lot of interesting phases of the mix!

This one is a really good collection of artists whose music is always on repeat for me. It's also the first time that I got to include one of my self-made mashups right around the 30-minute mark! I’ve been teaching myself Ableton and putting that mashup together was a fun mini-project. I also ended the mix with what was probably my favorite track of 2024. Let me know what you think :)

This one has some big energy swings — I like to think these represent the vibrant, dramatic blooms we’ve seen throughout this month all around us here in the Bay Area. Some lighter tracks, some darker tracks, all stuff that I’ve been vibing heavily to lately.

The seventeenth edition of the Ambedo series. Ambedo describes a momentary trance of emotional clarity. These monthly mixes are collections of tracks that have brought me a sense of pure experience and aliveness :)

What stood out to me in this one is the beautiful, angelic vocals throughout several of the tracks, interspersed with instrumental tracks that carried their own vocal-like melodies. I think the new SG Lewis track is a song of the summer candidate, and I've been waiting for "Different" to come out for a while now. It was a pleasure to include those in this edition. 

This mix also features a Lorde x Sultan + Shepard mashup I made that has gotten a great response whenever I play it in front of a crowd!

The twentieth edition of my monthly Ambedo mixtape series here! This one features a wide range of subtle sounds behind the kicks and hi hats, and it was a pretty good reflection of my affinity for the clear-sky, awe-inspiring sunsets we’ve been blessed with for the last handful of days. Soft to start, groovy to build, nostalgic and euphoric for the latter half. 

Felt so refreshed and energized putting this one together after an incredible evening a couple weeks back at 1015 Folsom supporting Marsh and Nox Vahn with full rooms of local talent and friends getting down on the dance floor.

Listening back to this one also taught me some valuable mixing lessons for the future. The beauty of making one of these each month is the chance to put something imperfect out into the world—I put a lot of thought and effort into the journey and emotion of every edition, but there always *could* be a new song to substitute in or a cleaner mix to create if I don’t give myself that steady deadline of the last day of the month. Consistency, not perfection, is what I’m after in so many areas of life.

Longest I’ve gone on one of these mixes, and I think the journey was well worth it! September 2025 had a little bit of everything in it—typical of this time of year in San Francisco—and I feel that the energy flow in this mix reflects that. I put a lot of thought into the different sounds that went into this edition and I'm looking forward to see who it connects with!

So hyped that one of the most anticipated tracks of the summer, Dream Controller, came out in time for me to squeeze it into this one!

A lot of fun energy arcs in this one. I've been trying to expand my horizons a bit in terms of finding new artists and sounds, so I'm hoping that is reflected in this mix and in the future! Finished with two of my favorite releases of the year, and they happened to both come out the same week :) 

Been having so much fun this month spending time with family, travling a bit, DJing out at Ocean Beach, DJing my first yoga flow, and starting to spend a little more time producing.

Can't believe we've made it to TWO YEARS of Ambedo! To close out 2025, I wanted to do something similar to December 2024 (Ambedo 12)—something grounding, reflective, and emotional. I wanted to channel the feeling I felt so many times this year walking on the beach near where I live, and I feel that it came through in these 2+ hours. 

This is for beach walks, forest walks, for cleaning your house in a less stressed-out state, for lying on the floor with your best headphones on or your best speakers plugged in, for snowy days staring out the window, for sunny days lounging by the water, for long drives on endless roads, and for so much more. It's for exploration, and it's to acknowledge the passage of another cycle in this brief life.

Ambedo (24) [Melodic, Reflective House Mix]

The objective was to dance, and dance we did!

Had so much fun spinning for Casa Tulum, a Tulum-inspired house music party, at Public Works SF. This was my first hour (I came back on for 90min later in the night but didn't get to record those shenanigans). Had so many friends in the crowd, truly a night to remember. 

Caught a bunch of different vibes through this set - it was fun exploring different rhythms than I'm typically spinning out at the beach or at other events. Latin house, afro house, indie dance, dark progressive house, and more. A couple of Lane 8 homies were in the crowd too so I had to finish with the right track :)
