METEO "Age of ASD" est une compilation de remixes de morceaux qui proviennent de titres de jeux de la NES (Nintendo) édités pendant la très brève période ASD en France (2ème semestre 1987.)
La scène musicale club électronique francophone s'est réappropriée ces musiques pour confronter leur modernité avec la leur. Un crossover qui fait suite à la première compilation METEO DIC PROJECT de 2018. Avec la participation de Die Klar, Voiron, Class Compliant, BJF, Souharce, Owelle, Cinder, KelyBoy, Daria, Fashion Italia, Pulgasari, Estebahn, Eve-Lise Blanc Deleuze et Isaac Pante. Un projet curaté par Witold Langlois pour METEO. 2021

Josho, borned and based in Manizales, the little coffee city in andean Colombia, forged his sound from the classic warehouse raves thrown by THC at Bogotá, where he lived 10 years, a sound that evoked dirty streets, high speed fierceful healing techno, pounding kicks and dislocated beats mixed with southamerican soundscapes. 

This track, the art and title make reference to the whatso called "Brick Parade" as Granada, Antioquia inhabitants walked their streets claiming for peace after a Car Bombing attack had turned the local hospital, the police station and almost 200 houses to ashes on december the 8th of 2000.  A sign of resilience and strength.

This track from American producer DJ Coldsteel is part of his new album "Trickster Spirit" which is being released by Acid Waxa on 05/11/21.

Trickster Spirit is a beautiful magic carpet ride of a bop, racing giddily at breakneck-speed across the more neon end of the rave spectrum. Taking in acid, hardcore, breakbeat and gabba, this is Coldsteel’s first full length long player to date, following recent EPs for the likes of Audio Bambino, Hardest Soft & Nooit Meer Naar Huis.

Young buck, Darius Shaol (aka DJ Coldsteel) delivers the goods - snacking on samples from far and wide and then spewing them up back again alongside his own deeply infectious harmonies & rhythms. Melodies are bright-eyed and bushy-tailed but divisive (see historical tricksters such as the fox, Pan and sprites et al). “Growing up in the U.S, I feel uncomfortable saying this but the album is intentionally cheeky. It lives in a cloud kingdom above grind, style and pragmatism”.

Part curse, part declaration, part Rorschach test, Varg's new collection of EPs is a barely balanced inferno. Side by side, raw club burners arrive from the wretched plateaus levelled out by chaotic neurotransmissions, while sweet and soft anthems take the pain away.

The first EP, Sky City: Even in the Heart of Heaven, Angels Can Still Feel Fear, affirms Varg's deft and agile take on techno. Here minimalism spars with blissed out programming, unafraid to pepper sedate hooks with intricate percussive rufige. With each track's eyes on the raving kru, Varg restates his permit to take it to the floor. It's foreboding, but it always has been—and Sky City: A Weak Heart to Break (Spit) makes this its method. Launching itself under the opening track's dazzling melancholic sweep, the EP loses its way in every direction at once by the last track's glitching gabber meltdown. Fair warning is required for the demonic and cosmically unhinged piece of rhythmic noise that begins the second side.
