One definition of 'Fortify' is "to strengthen mentally or morally", something I strive to do as a person and with my music. 

For this 4-track EP I spent countless hours tweaking every little noise and note to create a sound deeply rooted in classic funk, with elements of 90's hip-hop and hard hitting bass. Shout out to @800lbgorilla on the dope cover art.

My remix of  "Gypsy Djazz" by Warp9. I took his original track with an upbeat swing feel to it, and gave it a darker Hip-Hop vibe with soulful vocals playing over the transitions.

After countless hours spent chopping up vinyl, laying down basslines, tweaking synthesizers and banging on drum pads I'm proud to present "I'm Gone". This album aims to bring back the soulful sounds of the past while maintaining a bass-heavy modern feel. I'm especially happy with two tracks on the album which feature my friend Willdabeast (of Snug Harbour and Michal Menert Big Band). Will laid down some soulful horns, flute and a few other instruments to take my sample-based beats to the next level.
