This is the result of being locked up with 8000+  Techno & House music records, and DJ gear, for the last 15 months! It's a Loop Station/Sampler based performance where I take loops live from the turntable and keep building and shaping the sound in the sampler/looper. There are also a few pre-recorded sounds to keep things moving. I think I will be adding this to my DJ sets in the future. It takes a lot of practice to make this living piece of art, it never sounds the same twice and it's amazing fun! This one is classic Techno, I will do some House music ones in the future as well.

Dirty Epic presents its fourteenth episode of the Amplify Series podcasts, this time welcoming @agent-orange-nyc aboard.

Having cut his teeth during the legendary 90’s era raves and clubs in his native New York City, he has proven himself over the years as a pioneer and architect of modern day dance music. He’s spent the last 25+ years pushing a sound that holds true to the

He has had 70+ releases and tracks that have landed in the Beatport Main and Techno Top100 charts ­ 7 of which rose to #1 and 20+ in the Top 10 ­ for labels such as Tronic, Elevate, Toolroom, Bitten, Nervous, Deeperfect, and Terminal M. His thumping hypnotic grooves have captivated the most discerning ears in the industry and led him to remix the legendary Carl Cox, who set off his 2015 Ibiza residency at Space with the Agent Orange track “No FAQs” as the very first track of the season.

You can hear his tunes being dropped every weekend on dance floors and DJ mixes around the world by Carl Cox, Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing, Pan­Pot, UMEK, Joseph Capriati, Christian Smith, Monika Kruse, Paco Osuna and countless others.

NYC-based artist Agent Orange DJ continues to make a major impact on contemporary dance music by reworking classic tracks into modern day anthems. Earlier this year he released his rework of Armand Van Helden's 'Witch Doktor' that was swiftly picked up by some of the best DJs in the industry playing it on some of the biggest stages in the world. Now he's back with another clever reinterpretation, this time taking on Josh Wink's 1995 track 'Don't Laugh'. In a similar fashion to Agent Orange DJ's last release, this new rework has been rinsed in sets by the likes of Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Nicole Moudaber and many more. 

Agent Orange DJ had this to say in the inspiration behind his rework and the reaction it has received since sharing it with his peers: "When Josh Wink released 'Don't Laugh' in 1995 on Nervous records, it really stood out to me because of its unique concept. A guy laughing over a simple beat is just too simple right? ...but wait! I then realized its beauty really lived in its simplicity and you couldn't help but get caught up in the smooth 303 acid lines and the crazy laughter until the whole dancefloor started to laugh! 

"Earlier this year I decided to give it an update. In March I sent it out to some DJ friends and a few weeks later, started getting videos of DJs hammering it down in Miami for the WMC/MMW and all over the world. Adam Beyer, Carl Cox, Nicole Moudaber, Layton Giordani, Bart Skils, UMEK, Christian Smith and more. After Miami Music Week I kept getting reports from people saying it was one of the highlight tracks of the week and I couldn't have been happier about it. The news eventually made it back to Nervous records who reached out to me and said they would love to put it out. After getting Josh's approval we agreed to go ahead with it and I'm glad it found a home on the label who originally released it."
