This Project was a bit of a breakthrough when it came to the creative process and mixing. Acquiring new tools and knowledge pushed this track to its limits and it made me understand a lot more aspects of production. This track also serves as an introductory of a fundamental part of the story being told through music. I hope you guys enjoy this experience!

Some backstory on the track: 

I never really had good eyesight, but I still loved to watch the night skies even though I always saw everything blurry.
One night I was driving with my mom back home from some event, and as we got out of the car I forgot to take off my driving glasses and looked up. For the first time in my life I saw the stars all sharp and clear. That's when I realized that I had no clue how they actually looked like, and also how beautiful the sight actually is. It was a pretty mesmerizing moment.
That's what I wanted to replicate in this track; with the first section being "messy" and the second section being "clear"

Here's a collab that unfortunately didn't come to fruition.

First, enum came up with the second drop, afterwards I polished it up and added my own drop before it. Later, we asked Quartzone to record some cello lines for us and man he delivered some goodness! The Final step was for enum to write a third drop, but unfortunately it never got finished.
This track was kinda hard to make though, since the key is A#m, which is quite low for subs and basses. Plus, I wasn't quite proficient with mixing and sound design back in the day, so my drops sounded more like a sludge and I got kinda frustrated by that. Then enum went on a hiatus and stopped producing for the moment, so progress on this track halted as well.

I would definitely love to pick this up again, it had some really solid ideas, but it just needed some proper execution. I would have also loved to incorporate Quartzone more into the production of this track and not just make him do some cello lines. But let's see how it will turn out once we pick this track back up from the grave.

140 hours spread across 4 months, I finally finished this one. Really feels like I'm starting to get back into the groove of sound design, but I still have some work to do. Nevertheless, enjoy!

In an attempt to answer the questions that where left by the time gap, you find a broken Star that pulls you closer to it's secrets.

The Continuation of Coruscate and my entry for round 2 of the NGADM 2020.

This has been one hell of an evolution for a track like this. It also should serve as a gateway of leaving this Orchestral Dubstep style that I took on and try something different (Don't worry, Orchestral Dubstep is still going to be my primary Genre lol). But it also can be interpreted as the duality of a pathway. Being torn and not finding a proper and clear path forward; I'll let you decide what you think this track is supposed to tell you.

Anyways, Enjoy this cluster that I like to call "Jazzy Melodic Machine Gun Riddim Dubstep"! :D
