I favored a stripped-down sound, which allows the manipulation and intentional design of negative space and low end weight. Nods were given to the characteristic sound of sampling found in UK garage, dubstep and club, while the music exists in an indeterminate point between the three."

I feel very lucky to have found Noisia's music early on in my infatuation with electronic music. When I couldn't get enough drum and bass, Noisia's sound always stood way ahead of anything else. I remember when I first heard 'The Tide' and how visionary it was (and still is even today imo), so when the opportunity to do a remix came up, I knew that I wanted to pull from that era of sounds and textures as the framework. Big thanks to Noisia and the team at VISION for the immense honor to be a part of this.
