StevieRay Latham - Madeline

Nothing

AGE of the BEAR (singer-songwriter Anthony Cubbage) went through most of his life an academic, eventually studying music for 3 semesters at University, until coming to the conclusion that the direction he had been going was a story written for someone else. 

He left school, and immediately recorded demos, then traveled the country for 2 years, busking in major cities, and exploring United States' national parks, writing and recording among the trees and waters of places like Yosemite, Olympic, Badlands, and Yellowstone National Parks. Through this process of relearning who he was, much of the self-reflection and transformation - the questions that we ask ourselves everyday, our insecurities, and our doubts - came through in his writing. 

In AGE of the BEAR's debut album "Rivers," he seeks to answer a lot of those questions, or at least bring some of those thoughts to rest. With songs written from 2014 to 2019, the album covers a lot of ground in Cubbage's life, and the personal obstacles that he, and many others face every day.
