I Saw Your Ship Come In

‘Antoine’ is a melodic, engaging, piano-led song about wasted potential, from the view of an emotionally-invested onlooker. Its understated cello punctuates Kate’s striking piano, lyrics and vocal line. ‘Antoine’ is released on Friday 4th October 2024 and is taken from Kate’s debut EP ‘Saltlines’, due for release on Friday 22nd November. ‘Saltlines’ was recorded in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, UK by Duncan Lloyd of the band Maximo Park.

Kate Agerskow is a singer-songwriter from Hull, UK. With influences including Tori Amos, Joni Mitchell, Regina Spektor and Elbow, Kate writes melodic piano-based songs with lyrics that explore themes such as love, travel, and sanctuary. Kate's first EP, 'Saltlines', was released on 22nd November 2024. Her new single 'Winter Hymn' is out 18th July.
