‘Tek Code’ is the latest release by Boorloo/Perth-based @beltrac, released on the city’s own @onorecordsperth. 

‘Digital Ecosystem’ is a sexy & gritty bounce between the angled dance floors of tech-minimal, and the limb-loosening moments of drum & bass. With a breathy vocal punctuating a rich tapestry of bleeps & kicks, the track is an addictive listen that clearly demonstrates the producer’s ability to layer depth & texture without sacrificing on fun.

Across five tracks, Beltrac is set to provide a fresh approach to cerebral club sounds, across dubbed-out-minimal rollers, tech-house and breaks. 

Of the release, ONO said that “combining careful attention to detail and excellent technical production with an undeniable sense of groove, Beltrac delivers a club ready EP that tickles our brain while keeping our body moving.

Giorgi Katsitadze, the creative force behind SEÑOR, is an emerging talent from Georgia who is embarking on a distinctive musical journey. His exploration of music began in 2021 at the renowned Khidi Academy, where he honed his skills and began charting a path in genres like Italo Disco, Dark Disco, and Electronic Body Music (EBM). Over time, he has also cultivated a deep passion for Progressive Trance and House, blending these styles into his performances with a unique flair.

His sets are a reflection of this diverse skill set, showcasing driving rhythms, emotional melodies, and an irresistible mix of Progressive Trance and House beats, seamlessly fused with EBM and Dark Disco elements

Naarm/Melbourne-based queer party @clubconfide has evolved into a label seamlessly on 'Wanna Be Free'. The label's debut release by none other than CONFIDE's founder @simonettidj, is as true to CONFIDE as any of its parties is, "raw, euphoric, and steeped in the acid-drenched spirit of '90s house and trance rave culture."

The EP's title track, 'Wanna Be Free', is no different. 

Glistening pads & synths are layered over crunchy percussion & a driving 90's era bassline, while all the "oohs" and "aahs" symptomatic of the best parties you never got to go to punctuate its 6:16 runtime. "Wanna be free", the vocal cries out over a stabbing piano lead.

Simonetti understands all too well the ingredients for a good party's soundtrack. Outside of his foray into production he's the DJ at the helm of CONFIDE, which just celebrated five years of influencing Naarm's queer underground identity.

'Wanna Be Free' is available via CONFIDE's Bandcamp tomorrow, Wednesday, May 1st.

This set highlights elements of progressive trance and progressive house music.
