This episode Sonic Loom features BIOPHOTONS and his "Moral Compass" EP presentation. Biophotons is the solo project of Mike D., coming from Athens, Greece. Mike’s initiation into psychedelic music came in 2007, when he started attending parties and festivals around Europe. His interest grew into a productive engagement with this music, which culminated in the conception of the Biophotons project. Since then Mike has released several tracks in various labels, as well as his first EP: “Going Through the Motions”, on Urban Antidote Records. Meanwhile Mike has performed around the globe, using his experiences in the dancefloor of life as the inspiration for his unique brand of psychedelic soundform. After joining the Sonic Loom family in 2021, Mike develops his ideas into even more adventurous directions. This live set contains the upcoming EP from Biophotons, "Moral Compass". Let this compass guide you through another psychedelic adventure.

Bio:

Meet Kaliiraa alias Lara-Maria, based in Germany and India. Her deep connection with electronic music had developed already from a young teenage age and made her witness the evolution of different sonic realms for more than a decade at various festivals/ parties in many countries across the whole world.

The desire to play music herself grew and the project Kaliiraa was finally born in India on the beautiful Goan‘ shores in 2023. 
Now she brings her love and passion for psychedelic music to the stage, inviting everyone who wants to be part of this journey.
