Embryo Magazine Issue #1 - Sawf

@aysh3l is a young DJ based in Athens. Her selections are located somewhere between tribal beats, hypnotic melodies and industrial sounds. Her sets are mostly based on industrial , through a constant exploration of dark and aetherial atmospheres, while also trying to bridge her metal music origins with techno and electro elements.

She is also 1/2 of Waiting Room, an ongoing project about the transformation of the [non] act of waiting into a [ritualistic] process, through the medium of electronic music , always trying to merge her backgrounds in DIY culture and club spaces, while also being on the lookout for new musical experiences. 

Monthly residency at Movement Athens Radio with her show "CALL NOW!" & at Fade Radio as "Waiting Room Premium Combos".

TEMPLEOFJOY 112 - AYSHEL

Filmmaker is one of the projects of the Colombian Faunes Efe with which he explores a raw and aggressive electronic music, full of sharp and powerful sounds that drink from electro, techno and EBM among others. 

He has created numerous references for labels like Soil, Opal Tapes, Veyl, Phormix,… and in 2021 he created his own label Body Musick where he is constantly releasing new music.

It is the duo project of Guni Ca and Blak G, from Chiapas, Mexico. They define their sound as "raw & fat", influenced by EBM, Techno and Industrial music.

The work of the Mexicans producers have been released on labels such as Detriti Records, OSM Tapes, Haunted Space, N.I.M. Tapes, Soil, Pildoras Tapes, Miseria Records, Surface Reality, and upcoming music on Intervision Label, SHISHI and Body Musick.

They also own and founded Astro Bar Chill, a club based in Tuxtla Gutierrez, focused on underground electronic music.

This duo is one of the Mexican projects that are progressively positioning themselves in the music industry worldwide.

INININ is a dj based in Seoul, South Korea. His first touch with DJing was in 2019 and untill now he has collect a lot of vicious and overdosed grooves. He was resident DJ at Volnost Seoul for a year and shaped his sound from EBM to Industrial and noise, refined with his own style.

Next guest is Scottish born artist swærm. He's  sound lies in the under belly of body music, a melting pot of industrial, darkwave, post-punk and all manner of dark electronic sounds.

STM 257 - ANFS | Secret Thirteen

Extremenly pleased to share this set from Sawf in a truly amazing event we co-hosted with 3 Shades of Black. A  pure  lineup hosted Ancient Methods, ANFS Live and Morah, which occurred on the 18th of January 2020 at Temple Athens.

It was 6:30 in the morning when Sawf took over the decks in closing duty that lasted until 10, a night we will never forget and looking forward to live again. Enjoy the ride!
