I am very proud to present you Tronic's 500th release. When I started the label close to 30 years ago, I never thought that it would reach such a milestone. There have been many highs and lows, but what kept us going was the true passion for honest house and techno and always trying to push forward! This release features three of my tracks as well as a remix from techno OG Joey Beltram. Simina Grigoriu kicks off 2025 with a powerhouse release, teaming up with Italian techno maestro Hollen for the ‘Remote Control’ EP - out now on her imprint, Kuukou Records. Packed with three hypnotic tracks - ‘Remote Control,’ ‘Kaoss Physics,’ and ‘Wrong Or Right’ - this EP delivers a high-octane dose of cutting-edge techno built to dominate global dancefloors.

Simina and Hollen’s collaboration is a seamless blend of pulsating rhythms, intricate textures, and deep, driving energy. From peak-time bangers to hypnotic grooves, the ‘Remote Control’ EP is a statement of intent for the year ahead. 

The title track kicks off with commanding beats, hypnotic synths, and sharp industrial hits. Digital, robotic vocals cut through the mix, adding an edgy touch as the track’s relentless drive pulls listeners deep into its magnetic orbit. Following on, ‘Kaoss Physics’ takes a deeper dive, layering glitchy textures, intricate synth complexities and rolling momentum to create a darker, moodier vibe. Closing out the EP, ‘Wrong Or Right’ drives forward with fast-paced, heady rhythms and crisp percussion at its core, while a gritty, vocal sample adds an extra layer of intensity. With its industrial edge and feral spirit, the track is primed for vast warehouse spaces, delivering pure dancefloor dynamism.

Following the success of her final 2024 offering ‘Resident Frequency’ - a tribute to Berlin’s vibrant rave culture - Simina’s latest project reinforces her reputation as one of techno’s most forward-thinking artists. Sisko Electrofanatik returns to his label, Gain Records, with the release of his new 15-track techno album, 'Starboy' in celebration of his 20-year career.

This is Sisko Electrofanatik's first album, and it's a dynamic selection that showcases the Italian techno maestro at his very best. The album orientates around the peak time techno style that is trademark to his sound, while also embracing styles including progressive, electro, downtempo, raw and acid.

Based in Rome, Sisko Electrofanatik first broke onto the scene two decades ago when he was a regular feature of Carl Cox's record label, Intec. His captivating use of melody, intelligent sample selection, and energising percussion, have made him one of techno's most esteemed producers.

His music is regularly set listed by techno's most iconic DJs, and he has been signed to prestigious record labels including Alan Fitzpatrick's We Are The Brave, Monika Kruse's Terminal M, Spartaque's Codex, and many others of equal calibre.

Gain Records is Sisko Electrofanatik's own record label, and it's a globally respected imprint that regularly places inside of Beatport's Top 100 sales chart. It has a forward-thinking and innovative reputation, and Sisko Electrofanatik regularly uses it as a platform to release his own music.

Carl Cox has already supported tracks off this album in his DJ sets, such as the final track, "Alter Ego."

The album is a dynamic selection that sets the scene with the dystopian pads and suspense building acid of, "Starboy." The album then gets the listener locked in with the uplifting pads and hulking bass of, "Thrust."

"Ziggurath" is dark and brooding with it's throbbing bassline and electrifying lead synth. The next two tracks, "Syntagma," and "Zork," continue on the same peak time vibe, then "Opale" has a raw and hypnotic groove.

The seventh track, "Get Lost" features the voice of Lory who is a singer from Rome, and it's a melodic techno track with an emotive vocal. "Ad Astra" picks up the pace again with its dark and hammering groove.

"Elements' featuring Leah Rose keeps the dark atmosphere, but has an extended breakdown with a powerful vocal. Track ten is the downtempo "Acidland," which is a trippy slice of electronica with acid synths and cinematic pads.

"Imnot" lifts the intensity with its high-octane groove and dubby pads, then "Diapason" is a deep minimal track with house influences. "Supernatural" brings things back to peak time, then the tense pads of "Fable" is the penultimate track, before "Alter Ego" closes the release with its hypnotic flow.

Robert Da Capo is a techno DJ and producer who has solidified his presence in the electronic music scene. Formerly releasing under the alias Robbie P (UK), he has had several releases chart in the Beatport Techno Peak Time/Driving Top 100, including an EP that peaked at 7th place. His latest track, Martian, on Replicate Records, is currently charting in the Beatport Techno Hype Chart, while his Dream Control remix has landed in the Techno Top 100 releases. With tracks on respected labels such as BLOK and Replicate Records, Robert Da Capo continues to push boundaries with his evolving sound. He also has a scheduled release on Reload Black Label in 2025, further cementing his trajectory in the techno scene.

Robert Da Capo - Omen (Filth Pleasure Remix)

Italian producer Uto Karem is one of the world’s Techno elite. He has released EP’s on labels including Richie Hawtin’s Plus 8 Records, Christian Smith’s Tronic and Dubfire’s SCI+TEC, but most of his original music has been released via his own Agile Recordings.

Uto’s releases on Agile regularly have a great reception, often hitting the Top 10 Beatport Charts, and on many an occasion, also arriving at the coveted No. 1 spot. His avid following means Uto’s vinyl releases on Agile are also popular, with stock quick to sell out in most record stores.

Announcing his debut album in 2014, the last few years of Uto’s life have been a juggling act, balancing a busy touring schedule with label management and studio time.

Deciding to write an album came after years of releasing singles, remixes and EP’s, which although always true to Uto’s sound, at times took outside influence from hype and music trends of the moment.

The album is without restraint or outside influence, a project that takes exclusively from Uto’s core and the timeless music he has always held close to his heart.

Returning back to his early inspiration of bands like New Order, Depeche Mode and Soft Cell, he rediscovered the melodic synth lines that first drew him to discover Techno.

Going back to his roots, Uto spent hours working on synth lead melodies that although intricate, were also rhythmical and infectiously memorable. This often meant spending days, weeks and sometimes even months working on a single synth sound, which he would then build the rest of the track around. 

The final output blends deep atmospherics with melodic notation, pulsating basslines and stripped back percussion.

Techno focused, the album's energy makes it suited for a club environment, but to fully understand the intelligent use of melody and texture, requires headphones and home listening.
