The boss is getting remixed by the cream of the Techno crop, while his original mix overflows with juicy sub-bass as it holds the claustrophobic vibe down. Cristian Varela is up first, and lightens things up with a two-step bassline and a percussion-led rhythm section. Dema takes it from there and treats us to a heads-down groover, complete with streamlined synths and tasty chord action. The Filterheadz remix seals the deal and their rendition boasts light tribal sensibilities as immense FX washes take control and busy drum edits keep the suspense level high.

We welcome Landmark to Agile as he treats us to the rocksteady groove of &#8220;Dis&#8221;, led by a simple, addictive riff and classy synths which propel the affair to the next level.&nbsp; &#8220;I Want&#8221; picks up from there and offers a dubbier approach and cavernous vibe, letting the grinding hats do the talking as haunting vocals pierce the thick, midnight air.&nbsp; Also, the package comes complete with the tool version of &#8220;Dis&#8221; for those creative moments.

Uto&#8217;s latest outing on his own Agile Recordings kicks off with an ultra-sensual rhythm section before letting the sly bassline set the tone and the quirky percussion intertwine with discordant synths and vocal snippets.&nbsp; On the first rework of &#8220;Reflective&#8221;, we have none other than the mighty Dosem who fattens things up, mangles the original&#8217;s vocal edits and then adds his trademarked melodic chords for a more nostalgic feel. Closing up, Paride Saraceni&#8217;s percussion-led version of the same track boasts commanding stabs, while the rubber-band bass holds everything together in style.

Paride Saraceni is back on Agile and gets straight to the point with &#8220;Skyline&#8221;, where we find him rolling out the percussion and bringing in classy, evolving synths over a rocksteady drumset.&nbsp; The optimistic vibe of &#8220;West Village&#8221; is up next, letting a rubber-band bassline take control, while persistent stabs keep the momentum going and hypnotic electronics grind away in the background.

It&#8217;s time for our sixth Agility V/A compilation, and once again, label boss Uto Karem has rounded up seven earth-shattering offerings which represent our sound at the moment.&nbsp; Dema kicks things off with the cavernous &#8220;Chilling&#8221;, after which Many Reasons loop things out with &#8220;Out Of Control&#8221;.&nbsp; If you&#8217;re looking for some bass-heavy action, D-Deck has got you covered and Tony Dee will bring out the subs in style.&nbsp; David Dega and Nino Bua team up for the aptly-titled &#8220;Come Play&#8221;, Yado Atiz brings out the quirky riffs, and Unique (CRO) closes up with a mangled vocals and a rubber-band bassline.

Amsterdam-based live act VNTM plays all his own material and brings uplifting darkness to his music.
