<p>Tony Dee brings the horror to Agile with these two spooky cuts, showcasing the tales of the dark side with every twist and turn that his production skills offer to us.<br />
On the aptly titled &#8220;Psyko&#8221; the shadowy ride is dominated by a rise-and-fall bass which leaves plenty of room for the cavernous effects to roll out and set the apocalyptic tone. Looping vocals and tiny snippets come together and unfold throughout the track, adding the fuel of madness to the proverbial fire.<br />
 Moving on to &#8220;Scatter&#8221;, the snapping rhythm section takes control and holds the weighty pads and eerie strings which still nod to the dark, while a swinging bassline kicks things up a notch. As things progress, pitched-down vocals and effects subtly lead to a frantic synth riff which blends hypnotically into the claustrophobic midnight air.</p>

Up next on Kuukou is a slick and highly effective 2-tracker from Montenegro born maestro Ilona Maras. Known for her impassioned approach to production and DJing, Maras has amassed a gleaming back catalogue with highlights including records on Get Physical, Selador and Filth on Acid. Here she neatly tessellates with Kuukou's sound, presenting 2 disparate but equally effective cuts.

'The Poem' opens up with a distinctly dubby tone that advances like a stealthy submarine. A deep, filtered pad creates an oceanic bed while bright, burnished hats and colourful stabs propel an ever-ascending tension. A bold and expressive breakdown sets an eruptive mood at the centre of the track; one that gives way to cascading tones that tumble to entrancing effect. 

'Control D' balances the release with a more sturdy bone structure. The groove strides with bite and urgency as raw, jagged form barbs under a pulsing bass line and razor sharp claps. The track segues through its chapters with captivating ease as it ramps towards another arresting break that allows trippy snap shots of vocals to flicker before tension pops in a masterclass in dance floor control.

Nightcode was born during a blackout in a neon-drenched city, when Pan-Pot, deep in a late-night modular synth session, accidentally intercepted a signal from a defunct satellite looping alien rave transmissions. As the data warped their machines, every dial and fader moved on its own, channeling a hypnotic rhythm no human had ever programmed. The storm outside cracked in sync with the beat, and the studio lights pulsed like they were under the track's spell. Desperate to capture it before it vanished, they recorded the entire session through a toaster, a walkman, and sheer panic. By dawn, the signal was gone-but Nightcode lived, encoded with a frequency not even they fully understood.
