The night of the broken bass string, on the third tune in. While John and Mark cover the gap heroically, Rick replaces his string. The band soldiers on, but is cut short by the club, irritating the hell out of the die-hard fans, who are there in force. Still, it's amazing how much material gets packed into a half-hour!
The non-agitpop track is an utterance from a fellow whose name I can't recall, but it was a classic soundbite, so I'm including it.
I don't remember what the song is which I wound up calling "Milo bass tour de force", but I think you'll agree it's an apt description - Rick, or anyone else who knows the song name, please let me know, so I can make these set lists more accurate!
