I Have Fought The Good Fight

"May we be those who also return unto God and seek to be with His people, at any cost!"

Naomi told the wives of her two sons to go,
And to return to their own families.
One was persuaded to return to her people,
But Ruth determined to go with Naomi. 

Naomi then with Ruth returned to Bethlehem.
She went out full but was brought back empty.
Yet due to Ruth and the redeeming Boaz,
Our faithful God restored Naomi’s seed.
What a recovery was the experience,
God’s purpose to bring Christ forth was not lost.
May we be those who also return unto God, And seek to be with His people at any cost.
