Hamilton kick things off by giving a little backstory on their relationship, what prompted the start of the podcast and what listeners can expect with each episode going forward. Then diving into this week’s topic entitled “Identity Crisis” (7:05 mark),the two touch on finding a way to acknowledge, deal with, and balance the three key questions that all those in their faith walk face at some point in time: who you are, who others say you are and—most importantly—who God says you are.

In this episode of “A Good Return,” Ni’Kesia Pannell and Dr. Corey L. Hamilton discuss what things were like for them both prior to their growth in faith and after the transition. Dr. Hamilton begins (7:50) by flashing back to when he actually discovered Christ on his own and snapshot of what his walk has been like up until now. Ni'Kesia then picks up (38:05) and discusses her personal start with God and the two key things she's learned throughout it.

This week's episode of "A Good Return," hosts Ni'Kesia Pannell and Dr. Corey L. Hamilton discuss the importance of shifting your thoughts from negative to positive. They touch on the times that they themselves have struggled through bouts of depression and what methods helped the shift their perspective from "why is this happening?" to "what does God need me to learn from this?"
