i was feeling anhedonic on a late night
contemplating all the shit I did in daylight
shooting texts read the lines I hid in plain sight
thought nobody cared cried for rain nothing made right
sliced flesh frustration lead to aimless wails
i tried to finish but it ended with a tucked tail
a fucked tale had me sitting in the hospital
nurses looking down they don’t know I got this hot spittle
i’m not brittle self luh had me feeling restful
i ran too much and pandered such needed to clear my schedule
75 south lex is where I twisted metal
another sign to slow it down ease off of the pedal
lotus petals, grabba hot, hot tea on the kettle
palo santo, sage and nag champa keep me settled
dettol cleanses all my lenses I see clearer
finally opened up a portal through the mirror
i kiss the blood like Sam goddamn
i don’t wanna keep bleeding
fuck these thoughts got me fleeting
seeing a side I can barely reach through
plain view of my heart and soul
i’m turning the void whole
i’m churning feelings of uncertainty deep in my stomach
the thought of numbness makes my heart plummet
slowly but surely I decline the invitation
what’s the point of feeling nothing
i’d rather be in a hole
