"When I was approached by the label to see if Agro where interested in doing a track for their upcoming tribute to Thin Lizzy album I could not contain my excitement!, given my history as a lifelong fan I grabbed at the opportunity with both hands!! I contacted John and immediately he started working on the arrangements for “don’t believe a word” as he felt there was enough scope within this song to re work it to fit the Agro sound/style yet still retain the essence and feel of the original! The rest of the band added their unique qualities and we are all extremely excited about the final outcome!!
I have been a Thin Lizzy fan since high school, collected all their albums, even visited Phil Lynott’s grave in Dublin, Ireland on two occasions just to say thank you! and pay homage to the man who’s music has influenced me in so many ways!!"
